Amy Winehouse has been allowed home leave from her hospital stay.

The Rehab singer was admitted to The London Clinic last week, reportedly for a chest infection.

But she has since been allowed home, only to return to the clinic for further tests.

"She is actually at the London Clinic today and is in and out for various tests but able to spend time at home when she wants," her spokesman said on Monday.

And it seems that while the singer has no formal commitments, she is working hard on her next album.

Her spokesman said she is even learning to play the drums in preparation.

"She is learning drums though," he said.
