Adele has recorded with Jack White and Jack Penate
Adele is collaborating with two Jacks - Jack White and Jack Penate - this year.
The 20-year-old British singer revealed she'd recently been in the recording studios with White Stripes and Raconteurs frontman Jack White, 33, and will also be singing backing vocals on 24-year-old Penate's new album.
Adele told The Daily Star: "I met Jack White in Nashville and he told me he loved my version of Steady As She Goes. So he asked me to sing with him.
"I was well annoyed with him because we'd arranged studio time together but then he had to go and record the James Bond theme tune.
"But we ended up doing some stuff in London. he's a good laugh and I'd like to do more."
Adele added: "I've done some backing vocals for Jack Penate's new album too. He's one of my best mates. It's very exciting stuff. It's not as indie or guitar driven as his first album. People are going to be surprised."
