Chipmunk would like to make amends with The Saturdays

Chipmunk has said he will take The Saturdays out for a date to apologise for beating them to the No 1 spot.

The cheeky London rapper said he wasn't going to let any of them down and was happy to take all five girls out on the town.

Speaking to this week's Zoo magazine he said: "I like being the underdog and coming through to smash everyone ... But I love The Saturdays ... Maybe I could take them all out to apologise for beating them?

He added: "There's no discrimination from me either: I want to take all of them out."

The 18-year-old said rapping is just the first stage in a much more ambitious game plan as he seeks to emulate US entertainer P Diddy.

He confessed: "Rhyming is just the beginning. I want the aftershave, the clothing line, the restaurants... I want everything."

And he's not stopping there: "And I'd get into acting, too. That was my original plan, actually. This rapping stuff just popped up. I want to be a drama teacher when I'm done with all this!"
