Carrie Underwood is due to play a gig which will be streamed on MySpace.

The former American Idol winner will perform on US radio show The Grand Ole Opry, which bills itself as the world's longest-running radio show.

The Opry performance will be streamed with video for the first time this Saturday.

Carrie will be joined on the bill by Martina McBride, Rodney Atkins, Jake Owen and others.

She will perform music from her new album Play On including the fastest-rising single of her career to date, Cowboy Casanova.

The Grand Ole Opry began in 1925.
